This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved father, William Dailey Sr. who was born in Malvern, Ohio on July 13, 1931 and passed away in Alliance, Ohio on May 20, 2003 at the age of 71. A God loving, Irish-American gentleman who is deeply missed. The pain in our hearts is very raw. I can't wait to see you again one day! We will remember his laughter, his pranks, his nursing home trips as Santa Claus, his playing kick the can with all the neighborhood kids and the knocks on the door with the kids asking "Mrs. Dailey, can Mr. Dailey come out to play?" He loved kick-the-can. God bless you, my beloved father/daddy and may you rejoice in the hymns of Gods heavenly angels forever. You are so abundantly loved : by mom, Robin, Mary, Cheryl, Bill and me (Laurie) and your many grandchildren & great grandchildren. We would have done anything for you as you did for us. You were a true father and dad. I only wish I could have repaid you for all the wonderful, selfless things you did for me. My heart is so broken since you left because you are my hero and you are the wind beneath my wings, forever. I love you. Laurie Marie Dailey

The celebrations have started
There's joy and love in the air
But someone will be missing

Meant only for you
You loved to sit in it
Because of all the views.

My dad What can I say about my dad! William Thomas Dailey Sr. was a good father, a great dad, and a wonderful friend. He worked hard to provide for his family and was always there for all of us. He instilled in us truth, and love for others and for our God. He was a devoted Catholic man and I know he is in Heaven watching over us all here. I remember when we were kids, many of the neighborhood kids would come to our house, knock on the door and say "Mrs. Dailey, can Mr. Dailey come out and play?" He was great to play kick-the-can with. And everyone in the neighborhood knew my dad's whistle. When he would whistle, where ever we were, you could hear people say, "Dailey kids, your dad wants you home." We went camping every weekend, Church on Sunday as a family. I can say there were tough times when we were growing up, but, I would not trade them with anyone, for anything. I know I am so lucky to have had William Thomas Dailey, SR. as my father. I miss him terribly. Every day is a struggle; yet, I know that I will see him again in the glory of God's eternal grace. God bless you dad, Rest among the angels and know that I love you with all my heart!
His Legacy William T. Dailey left a legacy of love and many cherished memories for his family and friends. He will never be forgotten! He loved his family, his country and his fellow man. But most of all, he loved his God!
